About the Role and Your Impact:

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to help us build and maintain systems discovering and aggregating coupons and discounts for online shopping. You’ll join an experienced backend Agile team made up of four developers, another QA Engineer, and a Technical Product Manager. 

You'll also be part of our growing QA Guild (currently 7, soon to be 9 members), which focuses on sharing best practices and shaping testing strategy across the company.

What You Will Do:

  • Test systems that make automated decisions based on input from multiple data sources

  • Perform manual API testing in a cloud-based (Azure) environment

  • Collaborate closely with the QA Engineer on your team to ensure we deliver high-quality software

  • Work with developers, the Technical Product Manager, and other stakeholders to define requirements, test cases, and test strategy

  • Actively contribute to daily team meetings and Agile ceremonies

  • Learn and grow within a highly experienced team with a strong focus on quality and automation.

Job requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manual API testing 

  • Solid understanding of software quality, testing processes, test types, product lifecycle, and bug reporting

  • Practical knowledge of HTML and JavaScript

  • Comfortable working with SQL databases and a Microsoft Azure environment 

  • Familiarity with VSCode/RestClient, Postman or similar API testing tools 

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Very good command of English and Polish (at least B2/C1 level)

  • Strong analytical thinking

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup

  • Experience using Jira for bug tracking and reporting.

Additional Assets:

  • Experience with automated testing

  • Familiarity with Docker

  • Experience with distributed systems (microservices).
